She Needed to Go Home

8 x 11 mixed media piece, for sale if you're interested.

Pretty much sums it up.... we are feverishly trying to get the house together to put it on the market.
YES- as in move back to Pa (or Md or De.)!

We have tried and tried to make a go of it.  But for various reasons, things just aren't going our way.

The icing on the cake, of course, is that Chris can't really find work up here as a commercial diver, so... the writing is on the wall.

So, lots to check off before we get the place on the market. Then it will be lots of praying to get it to sell! Wish us luck!!

PS- We have St. Joseph ready to go. He helped us get our other house sold, and now lives on the windowsill in our kitchen- front and center. Hopefully he will help us again, when the time comes. I'm thinking 1-2 months before the necessary work is done.

I'm so sorry to see you leave Maine. That said, I hope your house sells and someone who loves it will move in and take over where you left off. Please keep us updated. Have you ever heard of burying St. Joseph in your front yard? Google it. I did and my house sold. Don't laugh. I have heard of so many people trying this. I don't know how the Church looks at this but hey, what the heck. I used birth control for years. LOL. Much love and prayers.

Sending loads of prayers and hugs. Try the St. Joseph - I've heard it works.

How about adding NC to the list? Obviously, not here - since we are inland and there is no work anywhere. But maybe the coast?

Thinking of you. It will work out. Somehow it will.

Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well. My daughter buried a St Joseph and their house finaly sold after being on the market for almost 2 years.
I'm sure it was a difficult decision, you had such plans. I believe everything happens for a reason and it will all work out. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Lovely artwork! Good luck getting the house ready for sale. You certainly are fortunate that Chris can do all the renovations. Sending all good wishes your way, Tammy
