Packing

Just a short note- I'm busy packing up things (instead of working on Vesna's book). I'm finding it painful- removing all of my beloved photos from the walls. It brings home the truth that we are leaving this house. I am leaving my home town, my parents, my sisters and my friends.

Chris really wants to go home to Maine. I cannot deny him that. And where he goes, I go. PERIOD.

I'm sure things will be fine once we get settled. Figuring out school, daycare, and work is a whole other headache...

Wish me luck.

What a climate and culture change going home to Maine - ayah! It is wicked cold up there, but it is also very beautiful and filled with wonderful people who will make you feel at home. What part of Maine are you moving too? Oh yeah, and the clam chowder is top knotch. I have friends that live there and have visited the Portland, Kennebunkport area. The Portland headlight is a fun jaunt.....too.

Packing and moving is so hard to do, but exciting to start a new chapter in your life. Embrace it and go with it with all your heart and you will be okay.

I'll be thinkging of you.....

Hi Lee,

I have moved too many times to count, but one thing to comfort you... everything will fall into place! You will meet new people and make new friends, find out about schools, etc. Think of it as an adventure and it will keep you from being too nervous. As long as you are together, that's all that matters. Don't worry, I'll come to visit!!

Love,
T

Hi Lee! Miss you in Scrapvillage and I see why you haven't been around in a while looks like you've been busy with a big move. Best of luck on the move to Maine. We went there on vacation last summer and loved every minute of it. Such a beautiful state. Would love to hear from you! Eileen (irishirish15)
