I've been using my father-in-laws computer to check email and give you updates. This saturday I'm supposed to get my cable/internet/phone. UGH. A whole week and a half without any TV and computer.
It's snowing here again. Chris left this morning to go back to PA to work. He'll hold on to that job until I get something up here. So, I'm hanging out with my in-laws tonight. Today I did pretty much nothing- as far as unpacking. I did laundry and read Stephen King.
Thanks for checking in. I'll be posting photos soon!

Bless Your Hearts! Do you think these will all be funny stories in ten years . . . maybe twenty? I wish you the best!
You've been without TV and computer and I've been a week witout hardly checking in on the computer.
Does this make us even?
Plus we got the wettest snow today. Four inches and at least an inch of water in it. Amazing that snow could hold that much water. I don't know why I told you that. It has nothing to do with anything.
OK, so what's up??? A week and a half for internet and cable - that's ridiculous - didn't the people before you have these modern conveniences in their house?
Moving into someone else's home is always interesting, isn't it? I thought all they had to do was flip a switch and presto-alakazam - you were connected. At least, I think it works that way here in the civilized world.
I hope my cheeky sense of humor makes you smile - cuz honey, all you can do at this point is grin and bear it until things settle into some kind of normalcy.
I remember when I moved to S. Carolina and my first visit to the local grocery store involved a woman with no shoes, shoving a package of pig's feet into my hands telling me to hold it for her while she ran to get some tripe.
You bet, I stood right there....trying not to look inside the package...I was afraid to move from the spot. She came back, with something that looked like - well you can imagine - and grabbed the package out of my hands and proceeded to the checkout.
I started shopping at the Piggly Wiggly after that!
Life is funny...you never know what you are gonna get into next.
I hope they get everything hooked up and working for you this weekend. That seems a long time for installation. Good luck and I hope you are enjoying this new adventure!
Congratulations on the new house and getting there without killing one another!! I'm sure all will be well soon and the fun part of decorating and enjoying everything will begin. Don't stress too much!
can't wait to see pics. Merry Christmas Lee, xo natalea
